While riding last monday i came down hard on a rock tore the skid plate off and put a small dent in the cross brace of the frame by the front bumper is it worth it to have this piece cut out bang the dent out and weld it back it back in I brought it to the dealer and everything is straight they sugested using body filler to fill in the dent if it bothered me. With the new skid plate on you cannot see the dent.

 

just go for a new skid plate, it doesnt sound like its weakening the quad, unless its a huge dint, but from how it sounds then it should be fine with a new skid.
