Default Tire pressure and performance...Outy 800

I have been on cloud nine riding this thing...and have learned already that this thing is a beast. At riding at speeds over 35...I felt a slight "twitch" in the steering. Nothing major, I just expected total smoothness. When I got home, I checked the tire pressure with the gauge that they generouslly provided...all the tires were set at about 6.5 with one being over 7, ( I am sure just a mistake from the dealer). I brought all of them dowm to 6 lbs. and alot of the "twitch" went a way. However, there is still a little wiggle there. I looked at the manual and it states 4.5 max.- 4.0 min. And so, I come to the pro's here on my home site to ask you...does pressure have that much to do with handling? I am going to drop the pressure on all tires to 4.5. What do you think?

I have tried everything to get rid of my shimmy out of my front end! Asked dealer if he had a tire balancer at his store and he told me he does not balance quad tires????? I am new to this, I just figured you balanced those tires too (i am in automotive) , there are wheel weights stuck on the inside of my wheels, you do balance these tires do you not???? I am 3.5 hours away from brp dealer, so i tried balancing them myself but can't get the balancer set up right to do these tires. I did notice ALOT of tire wobble on those carlisles (while on the balancer), if these where automotive tires I would say that the tires have seperated. I just don't know what i should expect from these bike tires. Hopefully someone can help???? I can get my bike to go over 70 mph but the damn thing shakes way too much.

yes the fronts do need to be properly balanced for that shake to go away and this only happened on a few models

You shouldn't be getting a 'twitch' or is it a shimmy(?) at any speed. I have had tire pressures from 4 - 6.5, don't feel any shimmy. Take it to him, tell you want it fixed, and you can be really non-sociable if poked in your shimmy.

It's a shimmy 4 sure, only felt in the handlebars, and only when the bike hits 62mph + It gets worse all the way up to top speed. I can go faster when I am doubling someone. Must be because i am taking weight off the front end.
On another note, does anybody know the toe in adjustments on this bike. The dealer has told me they should both be at 0 ???
