Thats all I got out of my first set. The replacement bearings must be better because I have just over 5000miles now and they are still in good shape......

How do you know when they go bad? My 400 has been squeaking from the rear end for a while now, I was thinking it was the brakes.

shake your wheels now and then, kinda like checking for ball joint wear on a car/truck. youll know when thye are bad. ive killed a hub cause one completely came apart, my buddys 800 got the axle too.
i think his died at about 2-300 miles. lots of mud and wheelies tho.

i have about 2500 miles on mine so far(original set), and i think i can get another 500 miles before they need to be relplaced. they don't seem to have any slop at all.

How much slop is to much? Both rear wheels can be moved up and down and I am getting a clicking or clanking noise when turning.
