top speed on 06 sportsman 700EFI
#3
I highly doubt a Sportsman 700 will run 75 mph. Stock thats all my Predator will run. Id give it about 68 MPH. Its not quick, but its fast, its only fast because its a 700 has so much power. But in my opinion, wayy too heavy for 75 mph.

i have the 04 with carb and with stock tires I was able to hit 72. Apparently the efi has a slight bit more top end so you may be able to 75. with big tires ( i ride mudzillas) ive dropped that by 10mph to about 62 top. Fast enough for UTE. i tried it a few times just to see but once your trail riding etc. I never see past 50mph. even that is a stretch.

Top speed is a funny thing on these or any Polaris quad.
You could run ten 700's off the assembly line and get 10 different top speeds.
My 700 did 62 MPH in stock form before the mods with the stock clutch and tires on a GPS (speedo is way off)
Then after the mods in my signature with stock tires 66 MPH on a GPS
Last weekend I ran the same strech of road with the 27" Mud Lites and got 60.7 MPH on my GPS, this time with the larger tires my speedo is right on.
I also weigh 300 pounds so you lighter guys out there would be much faster...
75 MPH is very hard to believe... 800's don't even go that fast. I know a guy with N2O on his 800 and he only hits 83 MPH on the juice.
