warrior clutch plzzzzzz help

Default warrior clutch plzzzzzz help

i cant get my clutch to work on a 1989 warrior. the pressure plate pulls in, but there is no movement in the clutch. do you think i need a new plate kit?thx

make sure the revser lever is al lthe way forward and you are putting the quad in gear... lol

no them are all set, i dont nkow wut it is. i put an old clutch in too, and it still didnt work.

I don't know what you mean. How do you know the pressure plate is getting pushed in? You can't see it when it's put together, and it won't operate with the cover off.

Default warrior clutch plzzzzzz help

i can feel the pressure plate pull in when i pull the lever. but i put it in gear,pull it in and it doesnt work,i push the bike forward and it doesnt roll it stops cuz it is not grabbing..do you know wut i mean?

I'm not sure. Maybe you didn't get the timing marks lined up right? I dunno, i'd just take it apart and double check everything against the diagrams in the service manual.

oh no there is timing marks on this!! i never knew clutches had it. i dont have manual, is there anyway you can just tell me how to do it. is it the arrow on the clutch? where does the arrow have to point?

recon99 thx a bunch. i went bak through everything and double checked. all it was was the pressure plate needed adjusting. thx a lot for the book,can u get one for any atv?if so can u give me the site u got if from plzz.
