My crystal ball tells me:

We will probably hear about the release of the 450 next Spring, make sure to check the 'dune' oriented periodicals.

Ther may be some changes coming for the DS too, but they are not sure yet.

And there is talk about a 2-wheel drive Renegade, losing 65lbs of front end differential stuff, but probably a second year release, after the first Renegades are sold and feedback comes in.

No 1000cc engines or Side by Sides in the near future.

There wont be a 1000 cc engine in production for any quad, probably ever.

Do you guys remember how amazing and incredible it sounded back in the early '90's about someone making a 650 for an ATV? lol

I bet someone, somewhere said, "There won't be an 800cc engine in production for any quad, probably ever" back in 1990

Sport bikes seemed to have stopped around 1300cc. I bet we have 1000cc V-twins in Utes by 2010

There are engine cc restrictions for ATVs. In some states, if the engine is bigger than 800cc then it is not an ATV and is not allowed on ATV trails. Just like the width restrictions, if the vehicle is over 50" wide, it's not an ATV and not allowed on ATV trails.

I am sick with anticipation. Where did you hear it was a 450?

I just sent my shocks off to be revalved and respring(d)(resprung?) and new a arms and rear linkage for my YFZ.
Wish I was spending the $ on a Bomb instead of the Yammy, but I want to win.
Hurry up already BRP!
And if you need a rider... an old one. hehehe

the ds 450 is definitely for real. my dealer saw a very short video clip of it. they dont wanna release it until it is really really done, ready to race. That market segment is super competitive, and if you dont get your product done right the first time, you're done.
Plus, they're waiting till closer to end of GNCC and GNC racing seasons, so they can sign some top riders to new contacts.
