When it rev's high it's making a rattleing noise, I don't know maybee its just because I need to re-tension the chain? But it seems to be making a rattling noise when I rev it up (not red lineing it) even when standing still. It's drving me crazy.

 

loose bolt... check motor mounts, foot pegs, try to pinpoint it

 

I'll have to check around, I'm guessing it could be one of my skid plates too but, if you got anyother idea's feel free to post, it's not a real serious sound rattle, just really annoying.

the cam chain could be stretch or some of the shields could be touching the exhaust

 

Actually I just looked at it again, found that the 2 clamps in the front for my belly skid plate were loose, so I tightened them up. Only got a chance to ride it around the house in like 2nd gear (it was like 10:30) it seemd to not be making that rattling noise. I'll have to get it out on the dirt road tommorow and open her up and see what the deal is.
