Default Buying new +3, +1 a-arms have a few ?'s

Last week or so we broke both top a-arms on my sons 03' Blaster. This week, I just bought some new ASR +3, +1's. They come with tie rods, but my question is, what about the brake lines? I was told that the stocks will work and also that they won't. Whats the truth? I plan on using the Banshee shocks with these and flipping the wheels back around to the stock position. This should make it about 2" +/- wider than it is now in the front. Is there anything else I should know about these longer a-arms? Also, how much toe in or out are most of you guys running?
THANKS!!

-The stock shocks will be VERY soft with +3's and will bottom out frequently. Do yourself a favor and invest in some Works or Superior Suspension (found on ebay) shocks.

My son only weighs 80 lbs. The Banshee shocks do ride alot softer than the stockers, but they are set as soft as they can go, and they are progressivly wound. I believe they will work even better for him right now with the longer a-arms. I think he will actually use more of the shocks travel than before.

the brake lines might not work, i have a raptor with +2 a-arms and they work but ive heard that once you put +3 a-arms, the stock brake lines are too short, id go on the safe side and pay around $100 and not having to worry about a brake line ripping in half and crashing the blaster because of no brakes
