N E one race a yfz 450

Just wanted to know if anyone has raced a yamaha yfz 450 with a brute 750. When my brute force 750 was stock i raced a yfz 450 and i would always take him off the start but top end wise the yfz 450 would always catch up and pass me, but thats when my bike was "stock".

I race'em every chance I get. They need more than a pipe and jet kit to keep up. We only race 300' sand or dirt drags so the short distance is definately to my advantage. If the yfz guys start getting in the motor much then it's over for me but I'll spank a stock one like a red headed step child. No offence to red headed people or stepchildren If you ever in NE Texas let me know we'll head to the track and race some "sport" quads.

I have a 2006 YFZ 450 with about 2500 bucks in goodies and have never had the pleasure to race a kawi, actually I live in Alaska and dont think I have ever seen a Brute Force 750 but I have read here in the forums that they are crazy fast for a big quad or any quad for that matter. If I do see one I will race for sure and post the results !

yeah bro thanks, i have a couple of pics but can't figure out how to post them. most the work done to the bike wasn't by me ,i'm only 16, the only things i put on the bike myself was all the little bolt-ons. All the other work like the turbo, pistons, crank, cam, etc. were done at a performance shop.

A turbo brute force.
Hmm?? 11.6 in the quarter mile.................
What trap speed did it run. Sounds like a world record brute force there. Well over 100mph if it runs 11s.

the best trap speed i ever hit was at 109 mph. my brother has a ram air WS6 that runs an 11.9 at 118. he should have a couple of timeslips laying around. but off the line i take him hard by about 8 cars, he starts catching me hard once we hit the 8th mile but its never enough to pass me up. also when we ran the bike it was back in the winter when the weather conditions were perfect. really cool with very low humidity. right now the bike probably wont get passed a 12.1. here in south texas the humidity sucks and it really kills the bike.

Oh yes it will. A ws6 will run mid to low 13's without a problem. GM High tech performance magazine tested a ls1 z28 with a 6-speed. With just the air filter removed, it ran a 12.9.
(I'm referring to the 98 and newer models) The older LT1s will run high 13's stock on a good day. I have a bone stock 93 z28 that runs 13.9s with only an air filter mod.
Still, jumping an 11 second trans am by 8 cars is hard to believe. If you are for real that's pretty amazing. What's even more amazing is piloting a lifted brute force at over 100 mph.
