smokin bruin 350 4x4

I have a 2004 bruin 350 4x4. the last couple of times that i have taken it out to ride it has been smoking. Immediateley when i noticed it I checked the oil but it's at the normal level so i don't think im losing any. Plus the smoke is white so i assume that it's something to do with gas. I drained the fuel and replaced it but it still does it. I also bought some fuel additive and added to the fuel. THis past weekend i took it out and it's still smoking. Im no pro mechanic so i wonder if someone could suggest something?

With an air cooled machine it has to be oil burning, sometimes it's easy to mistake blue smoke for white smoke.
At what times does it smoke/smoke more? When it's warm or cold? When you're accelerating hard, decelerating, or all the time?

I took off just normal trail riding and another rider noticed that it was smoking. I stopped and checked the oil. It was clean and full. I rode it very easy and over the course of the day it quit smoking. Then we stopped for a break and when I first started it then it started smoking for a while. I could smell what i thought was oil burning off of the engine. I looked and looked then finally found a place under the carb on top of motor that looked like some oil had spilled on the block. When I got it home I cleaned it all up and tried to track down where the leak was coming from. I took off the plastic from over the fuel tank and it was wet under there on top of the actual tank with what looked like oil. There are three hoses that run to this area and it appeared that this is where it was coming from. I cleaned it all up and rode it around my yard for a while to see if I could figure out where it was coming from. I didn't see any leaking any more. THen this past weekend when we started riding it started smoking again. It smokes a little just idling and then when I get on it hard or get into a hard pull up a hill it smoked worse.
The hose that looked like was leaking from under my gas tank plastic looked like it come from the rear differential. Does that make any sense??
i appreciate all of the responses and help. I am pretty ignorant on all of this so any help is much appreciated.

I had a similar problem on my kodiak. The rear axle breather, goes up behind the gas tank, and ends up sprewing rear oil all over the exhaust pipe. Check the fluid level in back, and make sure you have enough in there.
My fix, was to put a rubber bellows, from suzuki or bomb rear diffs, on the end of the line. Now it just expands and contracts, but none leaks out.
