Default UNI Filter on alphasports Cobra 90

Installed 54mm kit with 120 jet. Since I run in dusty or sandy areas (no water). Can I put an outerwear on it or just keep it well oiled. Also Should I just modify the stock air box so I can keep the filter as clean as possible?

I just keep mine oiled. Its a clamp-on uni and it does fine. If you want to keep your air filter
really safe, just put air filter vents on the airbox.

Can either of you let me know where I can find performance parts and what are the good ones for a Cobra 90. Also what is the process to change the speed limiter? I'm working on one and the owner can't find the manual. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the tips. Here's what my boys cobra.
54mm head,
28mm carb with uni filter,
boyseen reed cage,
technigas racing pipe,
clutch work,
geared for top end,
Stock CDI (next to be replaced)
Stock clutch and will lighten them this season

Most of this work was from the gang at Hetrick Racing. Theses guys race mini quads and have a shop so you can get someone live 6 days a week. I highly recommend them to anyone and a simple phone call to them will get you started the right way. I made mistakes dealing with miniquadracing so stay away from them. Billy from WRH Racing I learned does great work too, but hard to get in touch with him. Again cant go wrong with Hetrickracing.com and be prepared to spend about $1000. But my cobra flipped me on my *** onto asphalt when I gently pulled on the bars with wide open throttle. I weight 180lbs and its geared for top end. Hate to see what happens if it were geared for holeshots.
