I sold the SuperTrapp on my 2000 Yamaha Kodiak because I didn't like it. The SuperTrapp was on it when I bought it, so I am looking for a regular muffler for my Kodiak. Problem is, I can't find anything below $200! I am just looking for a basic stock muffler.

Who sells a regular muffler for a 2000 Yamaha Kodiak - 4X4 Automatic ? Bikebandit.com sells several, but none that will fit my quad.


Does anyone out there have their stock muffler they would be willing to sell?

A dealer should be able to get you a stock one for about $135 try Yamaha of southern Illinois online if they wont.

 

I'll look up the Southern Illinois Yamaha then. The dealer I called could get one for about $120, but it didn't include the tailpipe that comes off the muffler, or the pipe leading to the exhaust pipe in front. According to the parts diagrams I've find online, it's quite costly to try to buy all the OEM parts needed.

Anybody have a used one they want to get rid of?

 

If you need the head pipe as well as the muffler its going to be more

 

Thanks for the info, unfortunately it's the same parts diagram I've seen elsewhere. The muffler is $136, but it comes without the outlet pipe. The outlet pipe is another $43, not to mention the muffler protectors and exhaust gasket.

I've looked on ebay for several months, but no mufflers have ever come up for my quad that weren't already broken.

I don't have a problem paying for a used muffler, I just can't seem to find one.

 

I have a stock muffler and pipe from my 2005 if it will fit ill sell for $50 plus shipping
