Default My Bayou 220

i have a 1994 bayou 220 and i rebulit the whole motor and trans on it and been running good 4 about 1 whole year now. Now i need how to upgrade and how to get the most power out of it so far all i have done is put a k&n filter on it. apretiate the help

Default My Bayou 220

There isn't a wholl lot of power to get out of that engine. Since it is a small bore, lower production utility, the chances of you finding a company that has an exhaust, pistons, cams, can do head work, etc is pretty small. My suggestion is to either be happy with what you have, or suck it up and by something bigger. You can buy a decent used sport quad nowadays for not much more than it takes to fully up a current ride. I'm sure you could find an older 2wd ute for a good price too.

Default My Bayou 220

Cobra made a slip-on exhaust for the 220 bayou. I had one on mine back in the day. Not sure if they still make it but it did seem to help some plus it gave it a pretty good tone for a utility quad. As far as upgrade like Scooter86 said it's going to be tough to find anything for that model. They made it for a bunch of years but aftermarket products are far and few in between.
