#1
hi i was wonderin if i stand a chance against a piped kfx 400 he has the jet kit and a filter. he is also runnin 22 inch tires on the rear and my rappy has the baffle tooken out and a k and n air filter do you think i stand a chance?

Yes the 400's are fast and have alot of potential but you should still take him. Not exactly the same scenario but my 700 stock against my buddies 400ex with pipe, filter, open air box and rejetted wasnt even close enough to talk about. The kfx will hang better with your 660 but with just a pipe and filter shouldnt out run.

If your racing 300ft, thats going to be a good race. Whoever gets the whole shot will win. Anything past 300ft, you'll run him down. bberck is right about the 400's. They are snappy little guys and will run.

If you are a good rider I would say you will win unless there is a hugh weight difference. His 22" tires will slow him down a bit too. The 400 doesnt have the greatest torque so the heavier tires will slow him down off of the start and you have a raptor so he still wont be able to pass you on top end.

Hi guys i raced him and he didnt stand a chance i would say we raced 1/8th mile and he weighs 175 pounds and i weigh 155 but he has more years ridin than me cuz ive only been riding quads for 1 year and hes been riding for 5 years and im only 15. But i have rode dirt bikes since i was 9 so that helped a little. We raced on the road so i had to be easy on take off so he got the holeshot but i hit 3rd gear and i passed him we raced best 2 of 3 and i won both of the first races but that 400 come out of the hole flyin but my rappys not geared for that and its not front end heavy either. thanx for your help i appreciate it

If he had 20" tires he would be even faster of the line. Let me ride the raptor, Ill beat it off the line. Great job on the win though.

My buddy has a KFX 400. His is piped and mine is also. He doesent stand a chance. He used to get me out of the whole intill i got the shifting down. Keeping your front end down on the raptor is the hard part. My front end doesnt hit the ground intill 3rd gear.
