went riding today and rolde for about an hr.....(o6 yfz 450)....i went for one last run and i was going fine....then it began to backfire and proceeded to die.....tried to restart it..gave it continuous gas and caught and fired then immedietely died (made a bogging sound) repeated and did the same thing about 3 times....loaded it to come home..unloaded and tried to restart it and it fired right up...and suggestion what the problem might me...thanks for the input

 

1st check the airbox and filter......next the carb.......or battery connections(doubtful)

 

My friend had the same promblem you probly just need a new spark plug

 

Sounds like you ran out of gas. Then on the ride home , enough gas sloshed around to refill the float bowl.

 

yup, put some gas in it
