okay so my blaster is fast and nice but i want it faster and nicer so yeah. i just bought my toomey and it should be here tomorrow. i am waiting for my hadgaurds to get here still and my 28mm carb. i am trying to buy a k&n or uni slip on with outerwears for that. but what do u guys think i should get. i was looking at g3 reeds, get my swinger to +3, and some front tires. but let me know money is not a prob. since i got quite a bit, and got sposorers to help me out. mainly toxic tho. thanks

 

get some engine work, or suspension, get porting, head milled and rechamberd, and then get 400ex rear shock, and banshee front shocks, and if you got the money go with elkas. Toomey is an awesome pipe, i have one and it rips

 

i got a z400 rear shock with rezzie and i love it.i am trying to get brandons elkas. i am thinking about getting some front tires, porting and g3 reeds all at the same time so i notice a big difference. thanks

you can always bore it to a 240 or a 265 or even small like to a 220, www.cpcustoms.com has a really fast blaster and they have a list of all kinds of motor mods for a blaster to make it really fast, they have a vid of it beating shees,450r,raptor,raptor 700, z4,400ex and more.

i dont really wont to bore it because i heard it just eats gas. lol but umm i also heard cp cutoms suck my multiple ppl and they screwed thier blasters up but i will get a hold of sms and get porting or something but thanks guys. and with my mods z's and 400ex are not a prob. if they are not modded too much. but i was thinking about going lildeezuls way. and thanks guys but i will think about it yamaharider. any more opions

 

yes cpcustoms does suck, compared to the porting i seen from other mechanics.

dont get a big bore, just eats gas, and way to unreliabile, get it ported and polish, from totech81 on projectblaster, get head milled and rechambered, dont forget when u get your porting get a 30mm carb, becuase u got to feed that gas to that modified engine, u will be zooming then

 

I built a 2004 Blaster for my girlfriend, bought it new then sunk about 3500 bucks into it including a 28mm carb. The thing was pretty fast. Just for fun I raced my buddies 04 YFZ 450 at the bottom of Kincaid and at about 200-300 feet I was only about 2 quad lenghts back, I was impressed but when she rode it out at JimsCreek for the first time since I modded it the throttle stuck on her and she would not ride it again. Basically got 5500 bucks out of it so I kinda lost my *** on it being that it was still new but I have pics of it if you care to see what it looked like ( looked like a 250R to me ) I think ( and Anchorage Yamaha thought) it was the best looking blaster they ever saw. I have tried to post pics on this site but it wont load and says my pics are too big ?

 

Resize them then. Google for Infranview, neat and easy to use program to resize pictures and basic editing, small file and free.
