How do the belts on a modded Kfx 700 stand up to hard sand riding?? my dad has a AC 650 with a red secondary spring and 26" mud lites and he blew a belt on the first tall sand dune. hes tired of being left behind on the trails so he thinks he needs to get a Kfx 700 soon. but he wonders how the belt stand up in a kfx 700. he knows that the clutching focuses on the primary spring for a kfx 700. and he cant get a standard because he has left leg is artificial and therefore he cant shift unless he jimmy riggs it to right shifting.

 

I have a 04 KFX700. I have a few mods like pipes, clutch kit. I'm still on my original belt. 75% of my riding has been on sand. Not tall dune's, but sand nevertheless.

 

Tell him the belt stands up good. I have 2400 miles on the original factory belt, about 1200 of the miles are at the Oregon Dunes. Also its a good idea to change the CVT primary spring to a pink spring

 

I think he will be vary happy with it ,,and i dont think he will be left behind any more
