We have a Yamaha 50cc Raptor that starts but when you put it into drive it dies. does anyone have any idea what it could be? Thanks for the hlep.

 

A little more details......

Is this quad new to you? Have you been able to get it in gear before and now can't? Does it do it sometimes, all the time, just start or always done it.

I cannot remember for sure but I think you have to have the left brake lever pulled in on the Raptor 50 to put it in gear or it will die. If you do and it dies you might try to turn up the idle a little. On the Raptor 50 the Idle adjustment is the little phillips screw right above the choke lever. Hope this helps a little.
