i had a set of bearclaw on my scrambler, they are great tires and they shouldnt slow you down that much...they ride rough on hard packed trails thats why i went with radial for the summer.im from canada too,i paid 380$ for the tires and 25$ to get them mounted.

I too was wondering about the speed and handling of switching to bearclaws, I was thinking about putting them on my 98 400 scrambler, And then I was looking into dirt devils and a few other brands. This seems like such a hard decision! Brian
