Couple weeks ago me and my buddie we riding at our private trails. there is a step up. the jump shoots you up to a 6 foot high ledg. well this is in the woods and right before the jump there is a curve. he came around the curve gave it too much and the front end came off the ground enough to make it so he can't turn. he jump the jump diangnal and went right into a tree. he hit the tree with his right a arms. the damange was he bent his rim, ripped the bottom a arm out of their brackets on the frame and bent the top arm preety bad. He has aftermarket nerf bars on it and the crash pushed his tire back so it was pinned up against the nerf bars. he just bang his knee up other than that he was fine. He had a great day!!lol it was not funny when it happen but looking back it was pretty funny. i got it on tape so when we watch it we laugh ever time we see it.
i thought i would share this with you incase your were having a bad day just remeber someone else is haveing a worst one.
anyone else have crash if so lets hear it.

They most certainly do not move trees. I know that first hand because I clocked a tree pretty good on the left hand side with the one I used to have. The result? Just a pretzeled tie rod.

Wow, your buddy was having a good day to hit the tree and survive that one. My two buddies were riding a kfx700 on the towns roads one evening with it snowing. Bad mistake to be doin 40 mph over a hill at an intersection while the township was plowing. The guy in the truck plowing was clearing the intersection and had the plow angled to the left when the kids on the kfx700 were coming from the left, They saw the truck and lock up all 4s and slid right into the plow, luckily the plow shot the kids and quad outwards otherwise if the plow was angled to the left they wouldve been a vegitable between the plow and truck in the plow rig. The kid riding the quad broke his leg and the bone was poking out through the skin. The passenger broke both his legs and had bruises. They survived, barely but they did with a bad memory. They obviously didnt have a better day then your buddy RubberDucky. They shouldnt even been on the roads in the first place and they did have pretty hefty fines along with a good hospital bill on top of it all. Did they learn there lessons? The kid riding the quad yea, The passenger, Noo. I think the kid that learned his lesson did so becuase his kawai was totaled with the whole back of the frame bent and ripped off.

my buddy let me ride his kfx 700 the other day through the woods, wan't in the woods for then a few minutes and try to go around a puddle and the quad stopped dead. after ramming my hip into the handlebars i realized i hit a tree. no damage. think i'll stick to 4x4's then i can just blast through the puddles

I can relate to this. I totalled out my 700 in my back yard by hitting a tree doing only 10 mph sideways. It hit the primary clutch dead center and in return, it: bent my crank, bent the clutch, moved the motor 2 inches to the left in the frame, bent frame, broke clutch cover, and broke the front fenders.

The sad thing is I had a chance to buy a new set of Douglas nerf's for $105 a week earlier and I had to turn it down at the time.
By the time insurance covered the total loss, I was only out $200 for 6 months of riding.
