Aright I have a 1999 polaris sport 2 stroke and am trying to pep it up a bit to to the point were I will be able to beat raptors. Right now it has holeshot tires with aluminm rims and a K&N filter. I was thinking of adding A clutch kit, full exhaust, Delta force reads, 11 to 1 high comp wilsco piston, Jet it and have it ported. Do you guzs think with these mods this auto will hang with a tuned raptor 660 with a k&n, Jets and a yosh RS3 Slip on? down low and up high? 300 foot 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile?

Call Rick Ritter...he will set you up with all you need...he's the best in the buisness. 618-644-3211

You should be able to hang with a Raptor with those mods on the bottom and mid...but he will probably pull you on top.

iv heard alot about rick but I think I will be doing it all my self because im not looking to spend that much and im going to to a few trick things like get custom rings from wilsco and a few things I would like to do my self. I din't think I would be able to pull a raptor on the top end because they got a huge top end but I guess I can only hope.

Rick has his stage one kit for a good price. Be sure you know the porting specs if you plan on doing it yourself...you can really mess these cylinders up by not know what to set them at.

I agree with Dune call Rick and spend the cash to do it right all the way from the Stage1 kit to porting and dont forget to "girdle the cylinder"
If you dont want to go with RcR HSP has a 400 speed kit that I know for a fact will blow a 660 Raptor. But this kit is more costly than Ricks and it is still a good idea to port and girdle with it too.

I dont know I might go to rick for the head porting. I dont think im going to be geting his stage 1 kit tho. Have any of you guzs got you;r flywheel lightened or carb bored. Do they give you any more porformance becide reveing faster? I know its less reciplicateing mass, And stock carbs dont flow bad.

beat a raptor? a rappy only go about 71 to 73 mph stock, you only need a good pipe silencer combo
with reeds, head 12:1 with the proper clutch kit and a tmx or a pwk is even better and you should able to dust him,
you'll have to remove a lot of weights tough,,,if you port the jug,he won't beleive what happen to him then...

The most gain you will see right now is a pipe. Do that and clutch accordingly and then you will have a different bike. Rick also sells HPD pipes which I think are one of the best pipes made for the 400 motor. You will need a pipe to make the most power out of a port job( the cylinder gets ported not the head on a 2 stroke). I'd wait on getting your flywheel lightened and carb bored if money is tight....if you want the most bang for your buck on power then you really can't beat Ricks stage one kit with the HPD trail pipe. Just my opinion...the decision is yours.
