How do I get the Left Pivot Bolt out? The bushings are really worn. Swing arm moves around a lot. Looking at the quad from the rear can`t even see the left pivot bolt. But I know it has to come out to remove the swing arm. Lost on what is next move. Don`t like the ideal of taking it to a dealer.

You have to pull the clutch cover off.

Ok I pulled the belt cover off. Does the cluth have to come off and the trans. pully pulled off? Also there seems to be another black plastic plate still covering the pivot bolt.

You have to pull both clutches and inner and outer covers.

How hard is it to pull both clutches and both covers off? Are any special tooks needed? I need to change my swingarm bushings also.

It's not real hard but you will need a clutch puller for the primary clutch and you may need one for the secondary. The pullers are not the same for each clutch. Make sure you get the puller for a trailboss on the secondary. I had to shorten the one I bought for the secondary as it was to friggen long. It takes about two hours to tear it down and about the same to put it back as long as it goes smoothly. I thought the plastic parts would be bad in mine but they looked fine. It was the brass parts that were worn out. I would go ahead and change all of them. You will need a torque wrench and a 2", 1 3/4" and 1 5/8" socket and combo wrenches.

Download the service manual from my sig and you can see how it is done.
