Default oil change on 2004 500 HO need help

I just got a used 500 HO and wanted to change the oil, I was following the book but did not read as close as I should have. When it said to remove the drain plug from the case I removed the bolt below the filter on the left side of the machine, a bit of oil did come out but not as much as the book siad would so I was thinking something was wrong. I did re-read and found out the drain is on the right side. I put it all back together and primed the pump I did hear a hiss. My question is on the bolt that I took off below the filter it has a hole in the middle and one on each side, do you have to line this up just right or what? I tighted it down.
Thanks for the help.

Sounds like an oil line bolt. Just make sure it's not leaking
