They both make good trail quads but both leave a little to be desired as far as shock set-up goes. I would go with a warrior over a 300ex (just my preference from having a warrior) but i would consider looking up a little to a 400ex or z400.

warrior isnt a bad bike, but id go 300EX easily btwn the 2 choices here (if you cant find a 400ex or something). i dont know what 300ex the other guy rode but every one i have been on has been far superior in handling to a warrior, especially the early warriors. Even the 250X (was predecessor to 300EX) was a 'funner' bike to ride than the warrior.

you should just save up a little more and get a 400 class bike. i know a dude that was selling a excellent 2002 400ex for $28-2900 last yr. i almost bought it, it still had the "****" on the tires. he may still have it. but around here the 3K range is about what they are going for and the Z400s are getting down to the 3500 range now so if i were you id just keep saving some $$$ and get what you want.

All valid points. They both have their pros and cons.

Warrior has a little more umph, but if you hate the shocks on your 250ex, then you may like the warrior for a while, but you will get tired of the suspension on it .. it's really not very great. Worked for me, but I'm not that aggressive of a rider.

From all I've heard and read, the 300EX is the better handler, just needs some more ballz.

Cheers

If you can get a chance to find a dealer that has both of them, or if you can find both of them for sale somewhere. Take em for a ride and see how they feel to you. =]

Well if the 300ex handles better, you should buy one and adjust the shocks, get some mods
and youll be all set. The 250ex can be sold for a little more than 2500 if its new, so a 300
would be a good quad to get. Hope this helps.
