Bear Claws in my opinion are better than dirt devils. My nephew has a 99 recon with bear claws on the rear, and let me tell you that little thing gets it. I have a yamaha kodiak, and when I had stock tires on it and had it in two wheel drive the recon would go in nastier mud then me because of the tires he has. No doubt good tire for recon

Only down side to Bearclaws is the weight they are a heavy tire. That will rob some of your power. I went with wooly Boogers on my Recon and was very pleased with them. Good traction in all conditions and a nice flat profile for added stability. They were 8 pounds or so lighter than the Bear Claws.
