Default BF 750...outty 800

guys im getting ready to move up from my 03 prairie 650 and im looking at these 2 quads. I like to ride fast, climb STEEP LONG hills, mud,and technacal stuff. I also like to drag rase any one who wants to witch usally gets me beat up on by any sport over 400ccs and i want to change that. i want to hang pretty close to stock 450,s in a strait line. queastion.... what does it take to make a BF 750 beat a outty 800 in a strait drag. No BB kit... I was thinking about takeing the $$ saved by grtting the BF and getting a boondockers kit, coperhead cdi and a orange/blue spring... what elst would you guys recomend?

Sounds like you got it pretty well figured out. Although I don't currently have it done I would say a stage 2 or 3 clutch job from VforceJohn on kawieriders. From what I hear the clutch job will really help in getting the power to the wheels.
