I just recently put a kx 80 rear shock and monting bracket under my trx90 it works great!!

Looks nice. So that is a stocker and a stock mounting bracket? Which year KX did it com off of, and how much longer than the stocker is it? Did you have to mod the TRX90 shock mounts at all to except it?

 

The kx is a part bike I had, I think its a 1994 or 95. The only thing I had to do was bend the trx mounting brackets out some and I did that with just some pliers. The kx shock was about 6 inches longer but moving the bottom outward made it work and gave it 3 to 4 iches of extra travel. Its nice because its adjustable and a charged shock. It didn't take and lot of fabricating and used original shock bolts. It only took about 2 hours and most of that was thinking it out.

 

Very cool. I have also heard you can just bolt up a 300EX front shock, but your solution uses a better unit.

 

now I just got to come up with something in the front, on ebay there is some trx250 shocks I might get and see if they will work but I will probably need frabricate some type of bracket.
