Hey I just heard that Sony is making a ATv racing game for the PS2 and they say it looks awesome. I hope is better than that crappy one that just came out a while ago.

It looks really awesome! Really detailed and it looks like there are raptors and 400ex's in it (among others). It will be a lot better than that other one.

 

Cool if you can get a PS2 to play it on. I played the first game and it was pretty cheesy.

 

I can't wait! I hope they make the graphics look a little better than what the screenshots show at this time. I think it will be cool if they keep the real quads. Wonder how much the ATV manufacturers will charge for the use?

I haven't seen a really good PS2 game yet. Although, I have Ridge Racer 5, Tekken Tag, and Smugglers Run for PS2. They are kind of lame. I think they just slapped together all the games that came out with the PS2 as fast as they could. Smugglers Run is pretty fun in one aspect: the maps are huge and you can drive around in a huge 4x4, taking jumps, and trying some big hill climbs. I will probably be a sucker and buy ATV Fury outright, but I am not buying another PS2 game without playing it first!

 

Would you be able to play that game on the first playstation or just the second??....if you can I want a PS1. I wish they made a quad game for N64 that's what I got.

 

I have tested about 15(so far) of my old PS1 games on my PS2, they all work. Unfortunately the new ones won't work on the old console. That is the price you pay, just like new software won't work on an old computer, but you can make some old software work on your new computer (if you REALLY want to..)

 

Damn some of you are lucky. I dont know when I am gonna get my playstation 2. Most stores are backordered until March. Damn it :-)

 

The game sounds great accoding to the previews. I hope the graphics are a little better than in the screenshots. Also, I think it's cool how they used real quads, but the I didn't see the BEST mx quad ever, the TRX250R as one of the quads you could play. An available tricked out 250R would make the game so much better. Still, I'm definetly going to get the game. When I got MCM 2 for my PC I couldn't, and still can't, stop playing it. I'm sure this game will be the same.

You can go on ebay and pay $1500. Just kidding, some people must have more money than they can spend. I believe chrome A arms would be in order. I will get one but I will be patient.

 

Game looks great and I saw some name brands in the ss's! Now If they would get off the console concept and bring out the PC version!!!

IMO the pc version would be much more better. Anyone care to play some multiplayer of ATV MADNESS!!! **wishes they would hurry up with a PC version!**
