Default 400ex FRONT END MEASURMENT

I am making a custom front end on my 300ex using parts from 400ex and I was wondering if someone could get me a few measurement. Here what I need: distance right upper shock mount to left upper shock mount, hight of shock from eye to eye, distance from right upper a-arm mount to left upper a-arm mount, and finally distance from right lower a-arm mount to left lower a-arm mount. If someone could take these measurement for my I would be very happy. THANK YOU

p.s. please make them as accurate as possable.

The only measurmeants I really need now is the distance between the right upper shock mount and left upper shock mount, and the lenght of the stock shock/spring

Default 400ex FRONT END MEASURMENT

I can measure ours tonight and will post tomorrow if needed.

Just to let you know. The a-arms should bolt on without any problems. The mounts are located in the same positions as the 400, and the a-arms are the same except being longer. The cleanest way of mounting the shocks is to get one of the kits on e-bay. The top of the 400 shock should be higher and farther apart than the 300. This is a very high stress part. If theres any doubt on your fabing skills, then buy one off e-bay.

right now I am fabing one to mount the 400ex shocks. But I dont know how far apart the shock should be, so if you could go out and measure the distance between the two upper shock mounts that would be great!!

BUMP....I need the distance from the upper left shock mount to the upper right shock mount on a 400ex. If someone could please go out and measure this on the 400ex, would really appreciate it. Thanks so much, ALEX

Top shock mounts measure 10 7/8 inches center of bolt to center of bolt.
