In Scandinavia folks are logging with ATVs. There are a few companies here making log arches for ATVs. I'm interested in corresponding with anyone doing this here in U.S. I want to try it with my 1990 4x4 Big Bear. Can anyone provide insights here? Recommend arches? Thanks! Ride safe!

Could you describe "log arches" and their function in more detail? Thanks!

Logging arches are towed behind the ATV. They are designed for skidding logs.A couple of manufacturers are Nova Jack http://www.novajack.com/english/

and Future Forestry Products

They run a couple of thousand dollars. If you have access to a welder and a Automobile Bone yard
(for spindles wheels & tires) you could probably make your own for a reasonable price.
