Mud Under Seat
#1
I went out riding in the mud and rain broke an axle so I left the quad parked for about a month. Finally got it fixed and when I went start it it was like the battery was dead. Pull started it and my dash wasnt turning on. Find out all the wiring under the seat has corroded off from the fuse box and some other electrical components. What a brutal design for the brute force 750 wiring. Where do I start to find a diagram to try and pice it back together. Any body know what the little grey thing is in the rubber holder just back from the fuse box. It has 2 leads coming out of it. they are corroded off so i need a new one of those too.

Any new equipment I purchase I always try to get the dealership to throw in a service manual. Real often they will.
When you are putting this wiring back together I would suggest you fill all of the connections with dielectric grease, this will help a lot with the corrosion problems. Good luck.
