I have a 1986 350 fourtrax 4x4 that was recently totaled. Engine and trans are still in great shape. What I need is a source for a frame. Also need to know will the 350 fit in a 300 frame???
It would seem the bore size is different on these engines but the stroke is the same, also the case should be the same size. Will the transmission work? Need advice on this stuff. If it was a chevy I would have the answers.

 

If you look in the back of the atv mags you will see several ads for atv salvage. I have dealt with one in Massachussets several times Dirt Cycle Salvage they have been honest about the condition of the parts and they have a huge selection. I know I went to their yard one time about 8 yrs ago. Hopefully, you can find a frame from them or some other one in the mag. I would think a machine that old would have several in the salvage.
