how are these machines in reliability? ive heard about "clicking" and thats it. how well does the 650i do in the snow? how are the belt drives on these? easy to take care of? long lasting belt?

I don't have a 650i but my 700 prairie has been very reliable. I've had it since sept of 03 and it has 2300 miles of hard riding mostly drag racing. I've been through 3 belts but have no doubt it's from all the racing I do. Other than that I have had 0 problems. Like any machine you can find things that you would have done different. All in all I believe that kawi makes very reliable machines that with regular maintance will last you for many years.

Here it goes. These atvs are extremely awsome. They are super fast and go like crazy. The kawies are one of the best atvs to mod for speed, power, and so on. They also are very reliable. Many will tell ya that kawi belts are crap. They arnt. I can see why one would say that though if used improperly. As long as you use LOW gear to go slow, pull, mudd, climb or on a a trail at a average speed of 20 or below, go in LOW. That helps keep the belt tight and so on. Ive never had a prob on my 360 and i use low all that time. THats with around 3000 miles. Any questions, just ask.

Only bad part about the 4X4 is that is takes a few feet to ingage. SO, if you ever think you might get stuck, put it in 4X4 before you enter any sticky sitiations.

They will powerslide, but a SRA slides easier and better with the right tires. If that is what you want try to get a P700 or BF650 and get a VDI or Dynatek.

Yes it does. Takes the manufactures power curves away.

Mine will probably have alot of miles on it because its so easy to put them on, when the machine is a blast to ride. ive had it for 3 weeks tomorrow and over 200miles on it now lol. I highly recommend the 650i. My '06 is very fast, the 07 bf 750s handle as well as the 650s do now, because after i got my 650i my best friend liked it alot and curbed the grizz and went and got a camo 07 750, and it steers just as easy, so i think the comments about steering geometry improvements on the 07 750s are correct. However, my 650i is quicker, and i also think they are made quite well, not near the electric junk, wires, and clutter as on 99% of the other newest big bores, and straight line drive train, with few moving parts. MINOR narks for me is the drivetrain clatter, and i am a HUGE fan of Polaris awd, i dont like the fact i have to be moving to engage 4wd, but oh well its a minor setback. gl to ya bud
