Take it for a ride.
Make sure..
it starts easy when its cold.
it shifts through all the gears.
the front and rear brakes work.
the clutch isnt fried.
neutral works.
That is a good price for an 03 in good shape, but always try to talk them down. He prolly only wants 2k for it and says he wants 2200.
P.S. great selection for a quad, im looking into getting one as well because im addicted to wheelies.

Also check the plastics, they tell alot about h ow it was riden. Sure he could have bought new plastics, but idk many people who would take that time just to get a few extra bucks.
good luck,

Good choice on a sporty... Jack up the back end, and check the axle and the swingarm for slop and looseness . Lots of times the back bearings are neglected, and the axle carrier is trashed. Also check the play in the tierods, in front, and the play in the front wheel bearings.
