question about my 300ex

Default question about my 300ex

ok i have this magazine and in it they talk about putting an alumminum air box vent onto the airbox.....but they dont really show how to do it and if it really makes such a big differance so if anyone can explain it better or post some pics on how they did it on theres and if you can feel alittle differance it be be a big help

btw its a 99 honda 300 ex(2wd not 4)

My buddy has it done on his banshee and i dont really see how its worth it. He made it out of steel though not alluminum. Basically its just vents on the side of the airbox thta suck air from the sides and force it into the filter. You have to be really carefull through water though.

that dont sound like a smart thing to do. it would work in the west but not on trails.
