Will mikuni's large round main jet interchange w/ there small round ? So far Ive compared the 2 and only found 1 difference, and that is the head size, any have experience with this subject ? Thanks, Matt[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I had wondered that once myself. I decided it was not worth risking. I used the appropriate one for each carb.. Just my .02

 

I ordered the appropriate jet's any way, too much too risk, Thank's

 

I think the big ones are too big to fit in that cylinder the jet goes in.

I was thinking of putting the small round in the tm45 to save some $$, but have opted out on that choice and I have purchased the correct one's, Thank's

 

Mikuni large round and small round mains are based upon the same metering system. A 190 large round will flow the same as a 190 small round...for example.
