2006 Brute Force 650i vs 750i
#1
I was actually going to purchase an '06 650 but then got a killer deal on a slightly used '06 750. What differences can you point out between one and the other? I'm gonna go look at it tomorrow. Any specific tendencies or problems that I should look for since it's used?

Yea, like being once being full of muddy water. When you buy used it's like Forrest Gump said "You never know what your gonna get."LOL Stop and think for a minute, why is it so cheap and why buy an 06 just to turn right around and sell it? Who knos maybe you've found a great deal but, if you havn't noticed I tend to be a little sceptical.

dirtybird,
FAST has a good point.
look at the pics of the BF750 in my profile. That was his first ride on his new toy. He had it repaired, frame damage and all. He hadn't made a payment on it when that happened.
He still has it, but if he would have decided to sell it after the $6k in repairs, you wouldn't know it looked like that a month before, except he'd be asking $13k to get his repair money back.
FAST used Gump's quote, but Clint Eastwood has said "...you've got to ask yourself a question: "Do I feel lucky?..."
Also, after the ride this weekend with my girlfriend and her father, his words were "Well, if I learned anything today, it's to never buy a used ATV." Where I ride is a lot of rocks, but not necessarily a reason not to buy a used ATV. It was just more than he expected. Rocks aren't a big deal id the ATV is protected well and responsibly ridden.
With that said - most ATVs have not been rolled to the tune of $6k in repairs, and will make prefectly fine second hand rides - but you can never be 100% sure.
Like most things, if it seems to good to be true, there's probably a reason.

I completely agree with you guys. The seller is a friend of the familiy that heard I was going to buy a quad and offered his up for 5K. He's going through a divorce, had to move to Orlando, and has his bike collecting dust at his Dad's warehouse here in Miami. I would never buy a used ATV from a random person...way too risky.
I just wanted to know if there were any deadly signs that I should be looking for that are inherent to Kawasaki's. A lemon is a lemon.....know what I mean?
