Default 2002 Scrambler 500 4x4-NEED HELP!!

I bought a slip on pipe, jet kit and clutch kit and now it keeps dying and acts like it is free wheeling, not downshifting when i let off the gas. I think I need to adjust the idle to keep it from dying but I don't know about the not downshifting. Can somebody help. Thanks

Did you preload the secondary clutch spring when you changed springs?
And be sure you dont have any intake leaks on the carb .

I had someone do it for me, I'm going to take it back to them tomorrow and that is why I was needing help, so I could tell them what to look for or do. I know it came with weights, helix and springs, I'm not sure which springs, I will look and see if it tells on the paperwork. It is an epi kit, I don't know if they pre loaded it or not, but I called epi and they said that it sounded like the secondary spring needed to be wound, which i'm guessing is the same thing as preloading.
