Ralley 200
#2
I'm not a Rally owner but have done extensive research on the vehicle. By having done the research Ive found that its not a quality product. The Rally could have been so much more of an ATV but there are a few problems that owners have found, The first and foremost is the transmission, a lot of owners have had problems with breakage of various parts of the transmission. the second is the carburetor bellows, It tends to slip off over time due to being short. The engine moves quite a lot when revved thus pulling on the bellows and allowing it to slip off. Some of these problems could be due to the Rally not being made by BRP but rather a Taiwanese firm, not that all products from there are bad, but just a few problems associated with this one. On the up side, the rear brake issues that it once had have been solved on the 06 model. The reason why Brp has not fixed these problems? I'm sure I'll never know but with a few fixes this could be a great little ATV. The engine is strong for 176 cc, It has adjustable suspension, The same great frame is on it, and it rides very nicely. I was able to find a new 04 Outlander 330 2wd from a dealer For just a few hundred dollars more than the Rally cost so it was an easy decision for me and I'm glad I did. Although there are no more of those around that I know of, u have to make a decision on reliability or having the fastest quad in its class. Hope this Helps
