SoCal directions help from the UT locals please.

Utilizing Mapquest and heading N on the 15 I'm told to exit onto 50, 6, then UT 148. Looking at the atlas though it seems it would be quicker to take the 15 to Nephi, then 132, 148. So which is quicker, more convenient, more flat???
From UT148 are the entrances and directions clearly marked?
Thanks guys, looking forward to arriving Thursday evening.
Also, is Lynndyl the best search for comparable weather to Little Sahara?

Ace,
Take I-15 to Nephi, 132 to 148.
The turn off 132 to 148 comes at you pretty quick on the down side of a hill. Once on 148 (Jerricho/Callao Rd.) follow it to the intersection of 148 and Hwy 50. Go straight ahead over the railroad tracks and follow the signs.
FYI- Entrance fee is $8 a day now.

Fee is $10 per day on the major weekends. I do believe that the $10 fee starts on Thursday maybe even Wednesday...
Also, coming from the South, come up through Delta area is better than going into Nephi..
Weather link...
Little Sahara Weather
Hope to see some of you there... Look for my Marine Corps Flag flying above the trailer. We will be camped in the back, left area as you face the mountain... Come on over and say Hi, Lets go ride...`

Thanks for the weather link. Never tought to search it that way, I was looking at Nephi, Eureka, Lynndyl...
Do they come around and collect fees or do you pay as you enter, and if so then what if you end up staying longer than you intrended?
TRX, If you happen to see a White F150 with an Earnhardt sticker or two, some Marine Corps Colors and a POW/MIA flag whipping in the breeze, then stop by for some apple pie. How many Marines are in this group of DS folks? I know there has to be a few sissies, oops, I mean Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen along for the trip too. Just kidding you guys, we're all the best at our particular missions.
Thanks outlawz.

You pay as you enter, If you stay longer, you need to go get a new pass before your original one expires.. Do not wait until you leave and just plan on paying the extra as you leave.. If they are watching you will get ticketed and fined. The pass expires at 2 pm of the day you say you are leaving..
I wil look for ya. I will be there Friday eveing and leaving Monday afternoon sometime...
Lynndyl is a place that you can get gas 24 hours a day as long as you use a credit card...
You can fill trailers with water at the dump station or there are faucets around at the mountain area also..
Everyone, have a safe trip out there.

I second outlawz, come up through Delta, you can easily miss the turn off to Little Sahara from Nephi. By the way...... Do you know why the navy keeps marines on float (ship)???????? Just kiddin' Enjoy the dunes, My son and I will be doing the ride for life from Deseret Peak complex in Grantsville, Utah to Wendover, Nevada.... It is a fund raiser for the Make a Wish foundation.
