Default Fellow racers need help!

Here is a post from the fanatics site...... I have no specific details yet as I was not there but seems that there was some problems at the hill on the last night race last weekend in Glamis.....
Manny was the jockey of my bike at 4 stroke wars this past year, I will try to get some more details and will post them.. Any help that we can give these racers would help them out...

Thanks,
Jeff

I am writing this as a friend of some injured racers in Glamis not as a business, last Sat in glamis some fellow racers were injured severely by some that attended the night races I will not go into details as I was not there and I hope that this thread stays on just this issue as we need to focus on them right now!! Our jockey Manny was kicked in the head and has a large medical bill going John Safarian has facial fractures and will going in surgery today and another jockey(don't know his name)has his mouth wired shut. These guys are all with out insurance!!!! I have set up an account thru my paypal to help them out for some of you that don't know who I am, we own Marvinshawshocks and at anytime you can get an accounting of what I have collected, this will be divided between the 3 of them!!
Thank you for helping!!!

Whoever wrote that will get better results by having the hospital set up an account at a bank for each individual. Personal paypal accounts, especially ones that dont know who all the victims are scream the possibility of fruad. Again, better results in terms of donations will be had if the hospital sets up an account with a bank. Thats the right way to do it.

I agree, try to get more info before blindly throwing money into some strangers Paypal account.
If this is true, then the Hospital will setup an account for them.

If this is a scam and the riders are hurt........That's just messed up.

If there are no hurt riders, this is pretty Ballsy, even for a chick.

I hope no one is hurt and I hope no one gives money.

This screams Fraud!!! But I hope it's an honest do-gooder, but I have some reservations about it.

I understand how everyone feels about scams and so forth (I am probably the worst!) The post on the other website is from the owners of Marvin Shaw shocks and they are top notch people.... Many that were at 4 stroke wars have meet them and also my jockey....... If you don't feel right, don't give.... Easy as that... Some of the people on here know the people that were involved and may even have more info. I am just passing on information thats it.

There was a big post on Planetsand about this incident but it was removed because there was alot of finger pointing at different reasons for why it happened. I will try to post more info as I get it but I do not want to post anything that is not correct. All I do know for sure is what was posted on the fanatics website by sandrailprincess is fact as she has talked to people involved.

I hope this isn't a group of wanna be tough guys that deserved it. That I won't donate for. With the kick to the head it sound a little suspect.

Anyone that has met Manny knows that he is not a wanna be tough guy just a good kid..... From what I have heard and this is only from grumblings on Planetsand and I am by no way saying that this is fact because I wasn't there but there was a mishap during 1 race 2 riders (I don't know if it was Manny and this other jockey that was hurt) got a little tangled up. The bike owners had a few words but hashed everything over and were good to go. Then several people jumped in That were not even racing is what was said on planetsand and started throwing punches at the riders. Several people on there said that they were gang party type... And not associated with the races at all. This is all I know thus far... And if anyone was out there please fill us in with 1st hand experience...

I am sorry to hear about this. I have heard alot about Manny. And I have dealt with Tim and Becky quite a few times. They are good people, and surround themselves with good people. I would trust them with your donations. I sure hope they all make it out of it alright.
