Default Making your own oxygenated fuel

I know some of you do, and was kind of wondering the how to's on it. And why you do it with all the different race fuels out there. Any input would be great, new learning for me. Thanks

Get some gas from the gas station, get a fish tank air bubbler and insert the air bubblers tubing so that it bubbles air through the gas much as you would do to a fish tank.

OK, OK, I have no idea but that sounded damn funny!

Methyl-tertiary-butyl-ether (MTBE)
R+M/2...118
Cost...$3.50/gal
Mixtures with 92 Octane Premium
10%...94.6 Octane
20%...97.2 Octane
30%...99.8 Octane
Notes: Oxygenate. Very common in octane booster products. Has lower BTU content than toulene or xylene, but oxygenate effect makes the gasoline burn better and produce more energy.

Be careful, rubber gloves and airmask must be worn.

.................................or take one part alcohol and mix it with nine parts gasoline...................shake well and don't add ice.

Caution: If your jetting is on the button with gas only; your going to have to rejet with both OMR and my mix.

Oh; BTW; if it's a warm day you can go up to 15% with no problems and have some pretty good intercooling effects from this. I would not advise to go over 15% though.
