A lot of my buddies like the Dr D slip on, other raptor owners Ive talked to like HMF and Yoshimura. Ive heard that the HMF and White Bros are really loud in comparison to others... there are plenty out there to choose from though!

On a bolt on bike just about any pipe will be fine. You wont be able to tell by the seat of your pants which one makes more power so just go with one you like the looks of, best price, and meets the sound requirements in your area.

You should consider what can give you the best bang for your buck. If you're buying a slip-on now, you may want a full system down the road. And it would be easier to buy a good slip-on and then buy the matching head pipe later, rather than buy a crappy slip-on and then buy a whole new full system later.
The Yosh pipe's are good systems for the Raptors. Big Gun's are okay. But hands down, the LRD systems make the best power curves. White Brothers are just heavy and loud, and HMF's are just plain loud.
For most pipes which create the best performance curves, you can usually buy a quiet core insert to tone down the sound for the local areas.
If you're that serious about finding the best overall pipe, Dirtwheels did a pipe shootout with 12 different systems a few years back. A call to their circlation department can get you the issue, which included ease of installation, dyno charts, weights, prices, etc.

And in that shoot out that dirt wheels did, the CT pipe made the most power (no suprise there since it was on there dyno) and the yosh came in second just above sparks and at the time the duals hadent come out yet. So Im not sure where you get that LRD makes the most power overall. Besides if you are only after power and not budget minded then a set of duals is the way to go because they do make the most power out of any other set of pipes on the market. The Barker duals making the most (but they run outside of the frame) and the LTE duals coming in a close second.

What I dont get about the pipe shoot out in dirt wheels is every pipe they tested the air box mods where different. This doesnt seem right. They had stock, lids removed and holes drilled. They should have tested every pipe with the stock air boxes and then see witch pipe makes the most horse power.Tell me what Im missing here or did ct pipe tell dirt wheels to run no lid and the biggest main jets.
