Default anyone have pics of there 250x?

I just got a 1991 250x fourtrax for $300. Its pretty much a junker but i was told the motor was rebuilt. It has all of the parts i think. Just needs to be put back together. the motor seems to have good compression but i cant get it to start. Im not really sure i have everything hooked up right. It will start if i spray down in the carb but it will only run for a few seconds. The inside of the carb is really clean. Can someone help me with some pics so i can see if i got it right? I dont know a whole lot about this atv. Thanks...

You say it will start if you "spray down the carb". What are you using to spray the carb? If you referring to starting fuel or actually poring gas into the carb that would lead me to believe its a fuel problem. Is the carb getting gas from the tank? Are any of the jets clogged?

If its getting a spark then its either a fuel or air prob. Even if your carb looks clean 1 grain of sand can change that in a jet.
