I have a 2002 Rancher ES, I have put a K&N air filter and a Dynojet dj120 carb jet, and I need to find out how to squeeze a little more power and speed out of it. I am planning to add a biggun exhaust, can I use any of the other jets that came with the jet kit without anymore mods? and is their any kind of big bore or computer upgrades for this model? Thanks

 

There is not much point in rejetting until you have the pipe. The filter won't really change anything. You can clip the carb spring. Its free. Take off the seat. Take the screws out of the top of the carb. Lift off the top and pull out the spring. Clip off about 11 coils and put the long piece back in. Be careful to put the top of the carb back on just like it was. Also be careful to not strip the screws. They are kinda soft. You will see a big improvement in throttle response.
