Best Plow for a 05 Kodiak
#1
I'm looking to put a plow on my 05 Kodiak. I'm looking for opinions on which brand people are happy with. I am looking for one in the 52" - 54" range. I will be wanting a manual lift also. I also would like to keep maximum amount of ground clearance also.

I just got a swisher plow for my 06 grizzly, seems very rugged the only downfall is it is only 50 inches wide. It mounts to the rear tow hitch and then to the front lower control arms. You can check it out at swisherinc.com. I purchased mine through cabelas, it was the best price around at the time.

check out the eagle plows at eagleplows.com. I really like the one I have. It's been used for gravel and brush pushing just as much as snow. I've hooked it on stumps and rocks that have just about thrown me off several times. Ice chucks that have turned the polaris a complete 180 and it doesn't have a single dent or bend in it. Their a lot cheaper than most also. Hope this helps.

http://www.psep.biz/store/american_e...low_blades.htm This is about the best deal I've seen but I STRONGLY suggest you get the 60" blade. I would also put the money you would spend on the manual lift and get one of those cheap winches off ebay. It will make life easier in the long run, plus you will have a winch. Hope this helps.

Thanks.... I have had both the manual lift and used a winch on others and found that the winch was too slow. The area I have to plow requires quite a bit of backing up and the winch actually slowed me down. Thanks again for the web site. They do seem to be cheaper.
