See pics on my page. . . I think they are still there.
Grind away a little on the upper cross member and a little on the rear motor mount part of the head. Once you have it done you can pull the head off without removing it. Takes a little bit of extra work the first time but, much easier from there on out.

u can do it like dune me said or loosen up and remove the back motor mount bolt and tilt the motor forward and there u go....ive done it both ways, grinding on the cross member is the best way for the long run, im sure u are going to have to work on the top end again some time.

what I did was loosen the back mt. take out the front mt. bolt and let it fall foward. when done put a screwdriver under the front of the motor , raise it up , slide the bolt back in the front mt. tighten it all back up.
