Stiff Clutch??

Put your middle and pointer finger on the clutch lever, put your ring and pinky on the grip. Then when you let off the clutch as soon as its not touching your fingers it should grab. Less movement = less effort. Also WD-40 might work to lube the cable but i would buy silicon spray its like 3 bucks and will last ALOT longer than WD-40, it soaks into the metal. Hope this helps, get back with me and let me know if it does.
P.S. I would change your oil in the tranny since you just got it and dont know how long its been. Either one of these are great in banshee's. Make sure you use motorcycle oil and make sure it doesnt have friction modifires in it, theyll make your clutch slip. It takes just under 2 quarts to fill it, just use the dipstick.

Here's a few things that can help. First, replace that stock clutch cable with a Motion Pro Terminator, they work smoother, easier, and last longer, your stock one is probably pretty worn out. Also, dump that stock perch and lever, and get an aftermarket setup with a lever that has either a brass bushing, or better yet, a bearing on the pivot point. Just those 2 things made the clutch pull on my warrior butter smooth, and I can easily ride all day just pulling it in with 2 fingers. Maybe $50-80 for new parts, definitely worth it. Plus the new perch and lever will look better and make your bars less cluttered. You will lose use of your parking brake, but they're more trouble than they're worth anyways, and it's better off in the garbage than on your machine.
Here's a few pics of my clutch perch, if you want to see what i'm talking about.
