Default Lost power

I have a 2003 Sportsman 500. I hadn't ridden it in about a month and a fouled out the sparkplug trying to crank it. I changed spark plug and it ran fine for about a week. I attempted to start it up today and something popped.....not loud very suddle....like a fuse. Now there's no power at all when the key is switched on. Battery is good. Is there a fuse located somewhere that could have blown? Any suggestions?

Get a voltage tester......ground it to the battery......start testing the power wire back from the battery until you find the fuse or until you loose your 12 volts.........also Stenroi.....on your 450 sportsman......I checked under the plastic cap(FRONT STORAGE RACK) where the rad cover is and no fuses there.....I thought I read in a post that they were under there.......THANKS....caper.......

When I first posted this I thought I did all my home work. I first replaced the battery and went from there. Unfortunately the battery that I replaced was also bad. So after all the good posts it seems the demon was another bad battery after all. After a 3rd battery all is well. Thanks for all the input.
