Default Scrambler 500 vrs 400 4X4's

This is a pretty basic question but how does the 400 and 500 compare? I know the 400 is a 2 stroker so I assume its faster.

Thanks

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

In stock form they are both equal in power but the 500 has more lowend power. With a few mods the big differances start showing. The 500 turn into a torque monster with a pipe and proper clutching and the with a few other mods it is unbelievadle in the torque.
Now with a pipe, jetting, clutching, reeds, porting and a few more mods you can have a 400 4x4 that will run with the Banshees. But wont have the bottom end grunt of a 500.
I have had both and for tight rough trails the 500 is best. Now the 400 will shine on fast trails, hills and sand.
